How to open App Canon Service Tool v.4718

Start the Canon Service Tool on the connected computer.

Click the button in the Service Tools dialog to start this function. All buttons in the service tools are dimmed and disabled during the selected function.
"Function Done" when the job is done. is displayed and you can select other functions. '
If you select a function that is not supported, "Error" is displayed. in the error message dialog
Click OK to exit the error.

Download Service Tool v.4718 + Link Update
After extracting the file, open "Start".
Load A4 or Letter size paper.
Before resetting, print the EEPROM information (1) for future reference.
Wait for the printer to finish printing before continuing. Clear the ink counter, then select MAIN(2) and SET(3).
The counter value is automatically recorded after the ink absorber counter is reset. Select region (4): ASA, AUS, BRA, CHN, CND, EMB, EUR, JPN, KOR, LTN, TWN, USA and press SET (5)
After resetting, print the EEPROM information again (1).
Wait for the printer to finish printing before continuing. Compare your EEPROM data before and after reset.
If everything works fine, close the service tool. Turn off the printer (wait 10 seconds)
Turn on the printer and it is ready to use.
